J BIMBI® MY HERO

The J BIMBI My Hero project supports NICUs – Neonatal Intensive Care Units – for preterm babies and their parents.

Why My Hero? Because babies born preterm are the most fragile, struggling to grow and to win the battle of life, an unimaginable show of strength. They are our little heroes. And so are the parents who accompany them with love by overcoming challenges they were not ready to face. But these little Heroes would not be here and their wonderful stories would not exist without the NICU angels taking care of them and their parents.

J BIMBI® thought about the world of the NICUs and, in cooperation with their operators, designed a very special bodysuit: the "J BIMBI® My Hero bodysuit", which will be donated to all interested NICUs in Italy.

In addition, My Hero is also a line of products dedicated to the care of preterm babies not only in hospitals but also at home:

  • J BIMBI® My Hero Home bodysuits, have been specifically designed for preterm babies and to be worn even after discharge from the NICU.
  • J BIMBI® feeding bottles, thanks to their very low vacuum (the one created inside the bottle), the hyper-soft nipple, the zero-bubble cannula (to prevent colics) and the glass bottle (also available in plastic) are particularly suitable for premature babies and are successfully used all over the world to feed premature babies and babies with cleft palates, when breastfeeding is not possible, which is always the first option.

J BIMBI® MY HERO BODYSUITS FOR PREMATURE BABIES DEDICATED TO ALL THE NICUs (NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNITS)

The J BIMBI® My Hero NICU bodysuit was designed specifically for these departments, thanks to the cooperation of NICU experts.

The My Hero NICU opens up completely to facilitate dressing and diaper change and at the same time offers a containment hug that improves the stability of preterm babies.

It is manufactured with extremely soft and stretchable Organic Cotton to favour gentle handling, or pampered care, which requires gentle movements that are not stressful for the baby.

It features 6 strap-on closing and opening points and not the traditional snap on metal buttons since they cannot be used in combination with some diagnostic equipment such MRIs. Wearability is also facilitated in the presence of tubes, cables and medical dressings.

It is safe, free of harmful substances and it is OEKO-TEX certified.

The J BIMBI® My Hero NICU bodysuits are available in the sizes 0.4 -1 Kg for feather-weight children and 1 – 2 Kg.

My Hero NICU is not just a bodysuit but a way to facilitate the connection between parents and babies. Dressing the baby and seeing the baby dressed provides a sense of normalcy, giving hope and strength to the parents.
